Become a Better Player at Call of Duty

How would YOU like to show scrubs how it’s done on Call of Duty, AND how get some sick prizes doing it? How’d you like a nice gamestop gift card? Maybe a new controller? How about Kinect? It all depends on YOU, and how many people will sign up.

With the imminent release of Black Ops in a matter of hours, we have decided to set this up for all players visiting the site. This will be one of the first free to enter tournaments with great prizes for podium finishes.

While GameBattles requires you to pay money to enter tournaments with prizes, tournaments hosted by Call of Duty Strategy will be free, and just require the simple filling out of a short 30 second survey to add to prize funds. As a general rule of thumb, about 70-80% of the money made will be used to give out prizes to the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners, while the rest will go to paying for hosting and domain requirements.

In order to compete we ask that you provide us with your first name, console that you play on, Gamer Tag/PSN ID/Steam ID, and your email address. If any of this information is incorrect, your prize may be voided and given to the runner ups, as we NEED to promote fair play, and we need to know who to contact when you win.

The initial tournament will be held in a couple days so that everyone can get a feel for the game before competing. We’ll do standard MLG rules, which can be found by clicking here.

The tournament will be 1v1, but we will announce all the details after we have a day to play so that we can decide what rules and such to be used.

Proof of the victory can be given by screenshot, video, picture, or even submission of a video of the theater mode match recorded.

To sign up, please click the link below. You will have to enter the information in the fields after completing the survey. Fake and invalid email addresses will be automatically filtered, so please use your correct and most visited email address. We will not solicit you, and all emails will come directly from us and be about tournament related ventures, and nothing else.
